The New Earth Field Guide is not a self-help book.
It does not promise that positive thinking generates positive outcomes, that the universe responds to the clarity of your affirmations, or that the right mindset is all that stands between you and the life you want. Those books exist. This is not one of them.

Volume I — Wake Up The conceptual and scientific foundation. WHAT THIS SYSTEM IS NOT
Worth saying clearly.
This is not a replacement for clinical mental health care. The shadow work in Volume II and the breathwork practices referenced throughout can surface significant material. If you are working with trauma, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, or other mental health conditions, the practices here are most safely used alongside – not instead of – qualified clinical support. The integration chapter names this explicitly.
This is not a spiritual authority document. Where the science is established, it is cited. Where a framework extends beyond current scientific consensus into territory that is widely documented by practitioners but not yet fully mapped by research, this is said. Intellectual honesty about the edges of what is known is not a weakness. It is the minimum standard.
This is not the end of the conversation. Therapy. EMDR. Somatic experiencing. Plant medicine where legal and appropriate. Yoga. Qigong. The breathwork lineages. The thousands of years of contemplative practice accumulated across dozens of traditions. The Field Guide engages seriously with a subset of those tools.
